Wharf Widening, 1978


Work continues on Monterey's Wharf No. 2 widening project on August 17, 1978. Workers were required to wear protective mask and gloves after an arsenic compound used to treat the wood on the wharf caused the entire five-man crew of pile drivers to become ill. (Monterey County Herald)

Native Dance, 1969

Cannery Row, 1957
