Cannery Row Fire, 1967

Locals help battle a fire at the old San Xavier Cannery building on Cannery Row in Monterey on Monday, October 9, 1967. The fire destroyed the building and had over 15o firefighters from the surrounding area respond. (Monterey County Herald Archives)
