ReplyDeleteWow. Excellent picture. I remember hearing about Cannery Row fires when I was a kid in the '60s, and later driving down the street and seeing the shells that remained. We were living in Oregon when this one happened, but I remember the last Cannery Row fire a month or so after we moved back in 1984. I was working at the top of Forest Avenue in PG and saw the plume of smoke. They were all "accidental" (wink, wink) fires, right?
